The rock of Horeb

I love this picture. It means little to most, but to me it's a promise of God's provision. It's the rock of Horeb. You say, "so what?" It's the rock that Moses hit with his rod. God split it and provided a river of water for 2,000,000 jewish slaves and all their animals in the desert for months.

It's a reminder to me that God can meet my needs no matter what I see around me. It's a reminder that I have a very big God!

Whatever the need God is big enough to meet it.

But don't forget to say "thank you."

That is such a great reminder for me to have right now when things are so tough. Thank you. I feel stressed but, God will provide and we will make it through just fine. Thanks for that reminder.

There's nothing like being secure in the lord. Good picture.

I changed over to the new beta blogger, so I hope you can get to my blog.

Did you read the second comment at the curse confusion post. I just wanted to make clear my stance on giving.

We're in that right now. If we wanted I guess we could feel like we've hit the rock and nothing happened but that isn't what God is like. I think it's more like...well. I'm not sure. Maybe waiting isn't that bad. After all, it's only time.
