I saw Anita Renfroe at Women of Faith back in August. She is absolutely hilarious. I have that DVD with the entire song on it. As a matter of fact, I played it for one of my Bible study groups. The rest of the DVD is equally funny. Her husband was a pastor - I think she must make enough money now doing her comedy bit, so he tours with her.
...and the reason I don't think it's funny at all is that it reminds me of nagging. To which, those of us that had a great deal of nagging, it sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard.
Now, don't get me wrong. I get that its all in good fun and I can see why so many "get it." But, believe me, the first time I heard this I didn't laugh at all. I sighed.

I've seen this several times...

Well, you're obviously not a mom...
Katie,
you are so right! I am not a mom. Mom's are awesome, and I just don't qualify....in several ways. But as a son....I had to laugh.
