I plan to retire...right after lunch on the day I die! Until then I'm here to serve God, love people and talk about Jesus!

Monday's cartoon

Cute! However, the cartoon did remind me how often we let "things" distract us during a time of worship and time with God -- the decorations at the front of the church, the outfits worn by the worship team (did they try to match, did someone get a new hairdo), the couple that is having a conversation during the sermon, etc. I started closing my eyes during worship so I am not distracted and can focus on singing praise to the One who is worthy! If you see me close my eyes during your sermon, I may be focused on worship, then again ... hehe.
