Morning prayer

This morning, as I began the day, I took some time to pray and talk to God. Outside I heard a bird chirping. This is what I heard.....

chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp, thank you, chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp, thank you, chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp, thank you, chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp, thank you,

I paused to listen and this became my prayer this morning, without the chirps of course....although maybe I should have kept them.
