Easter is the day Christians remember the resurrection of Christ. It's the essential truth of our faith....that Jesus died on a Roman cross, that he was buried and that he rose from the dead on the third day, but that's not all there is to the story.
There's more!
He is......
......ascended to heaven. (Mark 16:19)
......seated at the right hand of God on his throne. (Eph. 1:20)
......Lord of EVERYTHING! (Eph. 1:22)
......King of an eternal kingdom. (Dan. 7:13-14)
......the only worthy one. (Rev. 5)
......the soon coming King of Kings and Lord of Lords. (Rev. 19)
......the soon coming Savior and Judge of the world. (Rev. 22)
He is God! If you wonder what God is like look at Jesus. He is the very presence of God in human flesh on planet earth! He is Lord.
And, might I add....he is my savior and Lord. I look forward to the day when I will see him face to face.
