I plan to retire...right after lunch on the day I die! Until then I'm here to serve God, love people and talk about Jesus!

N.T. Wright on Adam and Eve
I love N.T. Wright's works and thoughts. Here are his thoughts (briefly) on Genesis.

To pick up on your prior post, NT Wright is saying here that the genesis account is much larger than the literal translation or understanding. He is eluding to it being a mythological framework that we see our existence through. If you just focus on the details and make them the focus, you miss the rest of the storyline. Like a good movie or novel by CS Lewis, dont get too bogged down in scene detail, but rather see the entire work as a narrative leading you to deeper truths about who you are and why we are here.
