As an old friend, Dave, told me, "There's no such thing as a balanced life, especially as a Christian." We somehow think there is a balance between all the things we seem to value, but balance is an illusion that pacifies our guilt.....and guilt is really the core of our desire to define some kind of balance in our lives, isn't it? I wonder, if we were honest, how we would describe our lives? What do we really value? We demonstrate it by how we live.
