When officials asked for the Welsh translation of a road sign, they thought the reply was what they needed.Unfortunately, the e-mail response said in Welsh: "I am not in the office at the moment. Please send any work to be translated".
How often does this happen in our relationship with other people? We think we understand, but what comes out is completely different from what was said. I wonder if this happens with our relationship with God too?

My dad always said: "I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant." Not sure where he got that, but it always seemed to sum it up for me.
