For all of you who have served this country in the armed services, thank you!
Your sacrifice has made this country a great place to live.
Thank you all!

(It's also my birthday! My dad always told me that the parades were to celebrate my birthday. So it took me a while to figure out that it was for the veterans, not for me.)
